Alucobond Ghana has been putting aluminium composite panel on Ghanaian buildings since 1977, and the firm is now within touching distance of its fiftieth year. Most of that work sits on the head offices and branch networks of corporate occupiers and financial institutions in Accra and Tema — façades where the panel core, the coating, and the sub-frame all had to be named in writing before a single sheet was cut.
Specification is the whole job
We do not sell “cladding”. We survey the substrate, name the core grade, engineer the cavity and sub-frame, fabricate to tolerance in our own shop, and install against a multi-stage QC schedule that ends in a written handover file. That sequence — specifications, never shortcuts — is why facilities and premises teams keep our handover documents in their permanent records.
Who commissions us
Corporate facilities teams re-cladding a headquarters elevation. Financial institutions holding a branch network to one brand-true finish. Institutional occupiers who need the fire classification of every panel on the wall proven on paper. The common thread is procurement that reads the specification before it reads the price.
The standard we keep
Core grades have moved from PE toward FR and A2. Coating systems, cavity fire barriers, and handover documentation have all tightened across the decades we have worked. What has not moved: a named Project Office member owns every commission from first survey to warranty file, and the finished elevation is flat, brand-true, and documented.
